Gaming PC
As the title says, I bought a new tower. Of course my choses of towers is not just for gaming, however I find the gaming towers to be what I need. These are great for gaming too!
For you techy people I moved to the 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900KF Processor with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080. I did have issues with the CPU as soon as my custom tower arrived, it did not play well – at all! I replaced that one and everything booted right up! I had read good things about LIAN LI, so I have everything in a Black LIAN LI O11 Dynamic XL Full-Tower Gaming Case. Oh please I did not buy all these parts at retail prices!! I have done the math and come to find out it is more economical to have someone else who can buy wholesale to put my towers together for me. Then if something does not work or whatnot just purchase whatever part. This has worked for me for the last – oh – quite some years 10-15 yrs? 2021 was entertaining as far as pricing goes, everything went up in price!!
With the chip situation going on I feared I was not going to get this tower for some months down the road from the due date. Actually no, the company got it here when they said they would!
Of course as you may or may not know setting up a new tower is not a walk in the park as for video games are concerned.
The son got my older tower and we were moving videos, files, programs, settings, permissions, all that for some time. We are still moving over files! Oh crap I need this or that!
I am great at saving original videos, not so great was the move of the edited gaming videos I had made. So, I have to cut up the videos again! Perhaps making child friendly versions then the adult versions?? Who knows?
I went ahead and started a new Fallout 4 Game as well since it was after all a new tower! Anyhoo, you will see new looks and such as far as the videos are concerned. This is all just a fun thing for me to do.
As I have said for some time, I have a love/hate relationship with technology. Having different certifications in the tech industry dose not change this..
